I can start right away with participant management: a sensible web-based tool is indispensable. The process from registration to the virtual event must be as simple as possible for the participant and be designed in such a way that the appointment lands firmly in the calendar: in other words, the calendar entry must be sent immediately with the confirmation, the login data must be clearly communicated and, in any case, a reminder of the event must be sent shortly before the event. With guest2B, we had the perfect tool at the start.

In general, we have noticed that there is a much greater need for coordination in the run-up to the event. This is probably mainly due to the fact that virtual events are still uncharted territory for many clients. In addition, content and graphics are of great importance due to the focus on the screen. The preparation of the event therefore also means many calls with clients, designers and the streaming partner.

During the rehearsal and on the day of the event, one of the challenges was to ensure the work of all trades despite the contact restrictions in place. Here, everyone showed themselves to be exemplary: both the technicians from N&M, as well as our make-up artist Ilka and our photographer Alex, who documented the event, acted in an exemplary manner with make-up and the necessary distance.
