In spring 2020, we were catapulted into the digital event age by the Corona pandemic. Trend Micro was one of the first clients to immediately convert its events to digital.

For the product launch, it had to be more than just a webinar from the speakers’ home office. So for these events – a press conference and a customer event – we proposed a high-quality digital format live from the studio. With a professional moderator who led through the programme in an entertaining way and controlled the interaction with the participants.

We quickly got into a lot of uncharted territory and repeatedly put ourselves in the audience’s perspective already during the conception. 

Only in this way did we manage to consider even the last details: how should the platform be designed? What happens there before the event starts? Which tools for interaction do we use? How do participants register and how do they get their access data? How should the content be designed and how do we get the speakers away from long-winded PowerPoint battles?
